ALIMOS - (formerly Centrale Ortofrutticola) is a non-profit-making company which was established in 1967. Its aims are to develop innovation in the fruit and vegetable sector, help protect the environment and the land (agrobiodiversity) and promote healthy eating among consumers.
Alimos has an in-house team of agronomists and agricultural experts and also works with external consultants from the world of research and university, covering the whole spectrum of expertise it needs to provide the services it offers.

Alimos's mission is to change the way people think about food. To increase the amount of fruit, vegetables and healthy food we eat in Italy and Europe. To fight obesity and the typical modern-day diseases and illnesses which are the result of incorrect eating habits.
